Pippin is the musical tale of a young man as he journeys to discover the secret of true happiness and fulfillment. Narrated by a charismatic Leading Player, we follow Pippin’s path through the glories of battlefield, worldly temptations and the intrigues of political power. With a tuneful score by Broadway great Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Godspell, Children of Eden), Pippin has proven to be a timeless tale that has touched audiences since its premiere in 1972, thanks in no small part to such memorable songs as Corner of the Sky, Simple Joys, Extraordinary & Magic To Do. The current Broadway revival, which set the story in a circus, has been nominated for 10 Tony Awards and the screenplay for a new film adaptation is now being scripted.
