We are interested in singers, actors, dancers, stage managers and technicians who are enrolled in high school or college.
Online Audition/Crew Application Form
PERFORMERS Sign up for an audition slot and prepare to attend one entire dance call. Prepare a 1-2 minute contemporary monologue and two songs in contrasting styles. One song should be from a pop/rock style musical and the other should be from a standard musical. Each selection should be a 16-32 bar cut. You may only be asked to sing one song, but be prepared for both. Bring sheet music in the correct key. Be prepared for a short interview. Dress appropriately for the dance call and for the song/monologue section of the audition.

STAGE MANAGERS/TECHNICIANS Sign up for an interview slot, fill out an online application and bring a portfolio or any documentation of previous work and /or a letter of recommendation from a teacher or theatre artist.

MENTORSHIP POSITIONS College students have the opportunity to apply for mentorship positions. As mentors, you will work under the supervision of qualified theatre professionals as you head a crew or work as an expert in a certain area. Mentorship information is found here.
Summer Stock Austin combines college students with Central Texas area high school students to create a summer stock style program, producing multiple shows over the course of 6 weeks. Performers, technicians and managers work together to create an ensemble of working artists. The 2010 tentative titles are Rent directed by David Valdes and Sweet Charity directed by Ginger Morris. The program runs July 2-August 9 from 9am-10pm Monday through Saturday with additional dates and times for techs and performances.
